In the project view, click on the file importer. Change the scale from "0.1" or "0.01" (depending on what you exported the sketchup project as) to "1." It's there, its just too small to see.

Select your mesh in the scene (Hierarchy pane) and then double tap "f". The camera will focus to the selected object.

If it still does not appear, make sure you didn't have the normals inverted. You can also take a look at my helpful tutorial vid on importing Sketchup to Unity :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9s5S3UPWBo

Is the object making it into the scene? For instance, when you drag it in, does its name appear in the hierarchy (Objects list)?

If so, then, yes, it is entirely possible it is either too small, or too large. Select it, and under the transform, try various settings. For instance, try 0.01 as size. Then 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000. It could also be that the position is waaay off.

On the flip side, your export may not even be working. It is worth importing into blender, pressing the tab key, pressing the period key on your numpad, pressing a, then pressing the period on your numpad again. If this works, somewhere during the process, you should see mesh data. (dots and faces)

If nothing like this appears, then your export failed. If so, try following Achilles' video, and see if that works for you.

More details would help. Also try exporting it as 3ds, Fbx, and obj. One of each, to see if one of them works.

What file format did you use when imported the file. Unity doesn't accept the .DAE format. You probably already know, I'm just making sure.
