Happy New Year to Everyone!

Today is December 31, 2011. Tomorrow marks January 1, 2012. ->(Which is now Today)
As Time flies, so does our Buggies, Hovercrafts, and Jets. And we, I believe, are all (still) worthy, with power, piloting such magnificent vehicles in such a magnificent game.
...It's been approximately 3 years since I have roamed in the planet of Mars, getting and befriending other Martians alike. You know who You are, and I am eternally grateful for having such wonderful companions in the time I have been here. Like to many adolescents, certain games contain certain happy places for many. Mars Explorer is a Happy Place for me, despite what goes on.
And what goes on, is what I want to talk about, briefly. As the title says, "Another Year that's Near n' Dear", the title itself means alot. We are entering a new year, and fast, and I believe that as a leaf can be turned anew, so can us. According to many martains that play, there have been more complaints than compliments. Mars is, and I hate to say this, but is going at a downhill rate as quick as the year itself... or our economy. But, I believe that we can all change that. We all have opportunities and the power to make Mars like it should be - like it was during the Golden Age of Mars (said Apophis in his Letter). We're pretty much hanging by a thread here, all of us. But, with Hope, Determination, and Creativity, Who knows? Maybe we might reach our goal again. That's why this year is one that we should hold onto near n' dear.
This Post is of dedication to not only to the New Year upcoming, but to everyone.
So, to all of you: Happy New Year. Time is a gift - and there's no greater gift like the Present. Share, and experience it with your friends, and family. Just like you do everyday, and every night. :)
P.S: The Colorshocks have had a really good year. Having over 140 members is remarkably unbelieveable. I never thought it'd reach this far, nor did anyone else. I'm very glad this occured. The Colorshocks still maintain its purpose, and always will. Happy New Year to all my Colorshock members. ^_^

Everyone,
Happy New Year! The ball is about to drop in Times Square (in another hour or two)! I'm there, using boingo Internet service to write this. Happy New Year again, and let the community flourish as we move into 2012.
Thank you Ectoshock, for providing a good metaphor of the community. "Hanging by a thread." Now, we can snip that thread, or we can weave it into a rope, which will move into a cable, which can pull Mars up into a Golden Age.
Is 2012 the end of Mars? Or a new beginning for it? Both?

See, that's the inspirational thing. We can never know what'll happen in 2012. Either the End, or a New Beginning for the World, we can never know.
As for Mars, I hope we do reach another New Beginning. We're in desperate need(s) of it.

I agree. I am hoping for a new beginning, or maybe to weave that thread into rope. I think that we can do it, we just have a lot of work ahead of us.
Maybe the end will come, and bring about a new beginning. Only time will tell.

Happy New Years! Too bad I'm not in Times Square... I live nowhere near it. But I'm still gonna be watching it on TV... But I do believe, as the year, we should all turn a new leaf. If ALL of the fighting stops, or at least most of it... 2012 will be a great year for Martians. :)
