Recently, I tried playing Mars explorer on my new computer (Alienware M11x, I'll put in the specs), and I got an error message titled "Fatal Error in GC". My graphics card driver is updated, so that's out of the question.
My system is almost certainly not at fault - it's not even a year old, and it has some decent power.
Oddly enough, I can play Mars Explorer without a crash, as long as I am hosting the server and nobody else besides myself is on it. If someone joins, it crashes. I can play Mars without the crash in a full multiplayer server if it's windowed. If I go to fullscreen while on a server, it, well, crashes. In short, my multiplayer is disabled in fullscreen, which is extremely annoying.
Specs/Misc. Information:
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 540M (1 GB memory0
RAM: 4 Gigabytes
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5
Mars Explorer Version: Windows downloadable.
If you know anything about this, please help. I have already found 1 thread about it, but it was similar only in the fact that it was a crash involving the GC error.
EDIT: I got the error message this time. The title is always "Fatal Error in GC", but the text is sometimes "GetThreadContext failed", and at other times, it's just white. Worse, it has started giving those error messages (and crashing, because Mars must hate me...) in windowed mode too...
EDIT Mk2: Not that it's entirely related, but Syn3h does it too. That's dissapointing.
