I was wondering if maybe we could add like a difficulty level for the bots, because with both fir and dive or even JUST fire they are really hard to beat. It sems like they are always on extra hard!
So maybe under that bot section thing iin Server Settings, there could be a switch thing that goes from Easy to Medium to Hard.

Hmmm. Nice idea. This is already the case on CC I think but I agree with Smek that it might be nice to have it on mars too......

I already suggested it, AND also that buggy bots should be able to fly too, so that you can dogfight them if you're all ALONE.

Bots even shoot perfectly with low lazer speed and high gravity. It's impossible!

The custom settings (aka the big block of text that not many people mess with) seems to only have numerical settings for the server settings. For example, the "laser speed" bar may seem to be at 0, but it's actually at 1, or the "laser gravity" may seem to be at max, but it really isn't (some people take advantage of that, creating makeshift laser bombs with custom settings). I've never seen any bot accuracy settings in the GUI settings, so it's probably not there. 
 
Aside from that, there is a simple solution to bot accuracy thing: They're not perfect. They shoot at where you are, not where you're going to be when their lasers hit. Just keep moving at about 75-100 MPH (preferably flying), and they can't really get you too easily. If you're server host though, you could just disable bot lasers.

This is a good idea! I could see it being implemented too.
 
We would just need to figure out how to make bots fly -- Two protocols could be used: When on the gorund and wanting to fly, attempt to take off. Do this by establishing the fastest way to take off, driving off a nearby bump (if one is detected) or gaining speed and pulling up.
 
The second protocol would be towards maintaining flight and moving towards the target -- Maybe monitoring  pitch and moving through a set of "target pitches" to create a flapping motion, while calculating how to tilt the buggy in order to produce turns. Then the normal old firing logic could be used :D
 
The buggy could, when running, automatically enter flight mode in order to escape better, plus we could add dodging logic, etc etc. Loads of possibilities!

How about a "reduced" accuracy level Flynn. :( if they fly ad shoot just as well, then what's the point?

That's a good idea cause the bots will find you wherever you are and hit you on the first shot

The bots are somewhat stupid when trying to get to quarry, so maybe some updates with this as well?
 
The bots only go in straight lines when going after quarry, so they commonly get stuck behind walls or whatever. They're completely unaware of their environment.
