Hello,
Many of you may know me, many may not, but I have just been racing and came up with an idea!!! What if someone (with a good Internet connection) (possibly me) set up a racing map (it could be any but racing would be better) and then we can arrange for a party of people to arrive in the game at a certain time. Then, if you have screen videoing available (most macs should. I don't know about windows) we each film the race from both first person (hold down alt) or from chase mode (press 2) or any other view type.
Then, at the end, you send the clips to me and I will (try to) edit them to look like a real race!
Please feel free to leave any comment (even if you think I am crazy)

EDIT (26/6/12) : I have decided that (as I am at school during marsfest week) I will host a game a few weeks later......I have yet to come up with a date.......But please, if you are interested, comment.....I will then update this and PM you once I have a secure date for the event. ;D
P.S. Mad.......Please don't think I am trying to copy your idea of marsfest......As I have said, I just want to make what will hopefully be a cool Mars Explorer film!

Sorry Mad but all I wanted was to make a cool mars video! I do not want to promote myself. It's not the same as marsfest because it is only going to be 30 mins or so, not a week! How about we organise the race in a marsfest game? Would that make you happier? ;D

I personally think it would be AWESOME. You'll some good shots of me driving my Batmobile(Most of them will probably be me crashing into walls ;D ). Just let me know when you're going to do it and I will hopefully be there. Good luck!

During the Golden Age the idea of a racing map or racing altogether was pretty big. People made a few teams and had someone watch in a jet above to see who won.
The idea for it has come up, but no one made anything. Said it was a bad idea. I say its a good idea and people might find it more enjoyable then just driving around.... but your actually racing now lol!
