Talk about a feature that could disable wings.

I think there should be a feature in the Server Settings to disable Wings on buggy. Because in some games you don't want people using wings to cheat, like in mazes and races. Right now, we set the FI Speed and FI Agility to minimum in games that we dont want people to use wings. You have to say "No wings or wing pops" and evict people if they use wings.

This has already been suggested. (It is a good idea.)

Stall Blending gets rid of using wings to jerk the opposite direction (in races)

There is a little known trick that actually does exactly what you want! Sort of

If you use the IO box, and change a specific number, it will make flight impossible -- People can still open their wings, but they will immediately stop moving if they do so.

How to do it:

Look in the IO box for "bugfldr". If you have not changed the server settings, it should have the number 300 after it (and you can use 300 as another way to find it).

Once you have found bugfldr, change the number after it (doesn't matter what number was originally there) to zero. Make sure NOT to delete the colon between the zero and the bugfldr, that needs to stay.

Once you are done, click "Apply Custom Settings"

No one will be able to fly after that point :)

I do, however, agree, it would be convenient to simply turn wings off altogether through a nice looking checkbox, instead of manually disabling them using a text editor.

P.S. Nice photoshopping!
