As I observe the creative triumphs and hillarious squabbles of our wonderful Martian community, one thing grows increasingly clearer through the mists of passing time:
You friends are far more awesome that I had ever dreamed of when I started this project.
I'm not currently in a position to make any definitive statements about Syn3h, but I will be in able to do so within the next couple months. Should I be able to commit the time it so richly deserves, we will be working together on one of the coolest reality simulators ever created.
I just upgraded the project to Unity 3.5, and rewrote enough code to get it compiling without deprecation errors. You now have the culmination of all my work on Mars Explorer. Use it for good!
Quick word of caution: Any application you download to your computer has the potential to destroy your computer. Unity Webplayer games are perfectly safe, but you should think twice about running native game builds from random people on the internet.
To those of you who aren't currently as active as you once were, I completely understand! Chances are quite high that one day we will again be a community far larger, but even more closely knit, than ever before. I can't wait to see where Mars will go from here.
