Jet noobing (similar to hovercraft noobing) is where one is in a jet and flies away with the quary. But the meanest noobing is: hovercraft noobing. Why? Because hovercrafts, when drifting on totally flat ground, has 0 friction, which allows it to coast at up to 1100. The hovercraft can outrun the jet. So a hovercraft will hover away, speed up to 1000 mph, release the gas, and just relax. The reason why you cannot go over 1100 mph is because Mars Explorer has a limit, so when speeds go over 1100, it goes down back to 500. Jets are unstable with keeping speeds, so it is hard to maintain exact speed like the hovercraft can. It always accelerates, and when you hold Q, the jet slowly drifts downward and slows down, and then you have to speed up again, slow down, and so on, but with hovercraft, you don't have to do anything.
You can do hovercraft noobing in any world. That is because there is invisible lava at -300 alt in worlds that don't have the "Sea". All worlds have lava, so what you do is, you fall off the world in your hovercraft, and when you fall off, wait till you get to around -200 alt, then hold command so you don't go too fast and get below the boundary. Release command when you land on the lava. Now you can run away at super sonic speeds. No jet or hovercraft can get to you.
Oh and another thing, by default, Laser Lck is medium for jets, which means if there is a jet noob, you can chase him with your jet, and aim your green stick (whatever you call it) at the quarry, and it will automatically fire a special laser (if red laser, it will home at the quarry. The homing isn't perfect, the laser goes straight, and when it gets close, it will change it's direction toward the quarry, and catch him. Green lasers don't do that, but they have a higher firing rate.) toward the quarry. Then what I recommend is, fly back to world, and aim your green stick toward someone, so you get a point. Then switch to a different vehicle, and continue playing.
If you are chasing hovercraft noobs, you have to hurry up and start chasing them, or it will be impossible to catch them. If you are host, evict the noob. If not, you could hack the game with MarsHax* (In a good and proper way) to get quarry, and return the quarry, or you could ask the host to evict him.
*MarsHax is off (shut down) right now, so you cannot use MarsHax to catch a n00b. Hopefully it will turn on soon (it's been a while).
You don't wanna have bots that are hovercrafts and can fire, because they will catch you, and run away. Bots are pure noobs. I once was chasing hovercraft bots that were quarry in my hovercraft, and even though I was going a little more than 1000 mph, but the DST was still going up quite fast. I am not sure if the bots have a 1100 mph limit like we do, but it seems so, because they were going much faster than me. The only way to get over the limit is with a glitch where you are launched super fast, but you still will be slowed down. I think it is because the limit is in act, but you go soo fast, that it goes from 500 to 1100 in a few milliseconds, but the speedometer has a slower sample rate, so it thinks it is going really fast. I'm not sure, but that is my theory. Anyway, back to the bots, you need to aim your stick at them ASAP before they get too far away!!!
