Hello, everyone! Mars Explorer 3.0 Build 04-05 is now ready and available!
Sorry for the massive delay in posting, yesterday was a long day... Tried to pack too much in and ended up having to push off the release to tonight. I will be away for the next two days, so you will probably nto see any more update for a bit.

Release changes and notes:
The major goal of this release was to fix one bug, and one bug only. The bug I ended up fixing was a major one -- crashing upon world unload. After that was fixed, I began work on some "minor features" which I hope to include in every release.
I am pleased to announce that smart collisions are now optional and disabled by default! This means that a load of old glitches are now back, and, resetting in a world with a strange spawn won't get you stuck. It will instead launch you several hundred feat into the air, but... it's a start.
I've added a couple other features, but they are, shall we say, secrets. I'll let you all try to discover them :)
Now, let's look to the future for a moment...
There is a lot to do! Major design goals before 3.1 are:
- Whirld block and text-based data loading
- All new networking system
- (Possibly) fixing of pink areas in worlds which used old shader code
- Forum system for the new release
After that, the first official version of Mars 3.0 will be released :)
Not to worry though, if any of these goals cannot be attained between updates, I WILL still be spending some time improving little things here and there.
Summary:
Known Bugs:
- Non-host players can no longer view server settings -- This is on purpose and only temporary.
- Wheels on buggy invisible on Fast-(Eric)
- Wheels on tank render strangely on Good+ (Etah)
- Shaders from worlds made for Unity 2 do not render properly on Unity 3. No fix is known. (Flynn)
- When chatting, one must click the game to regain control of their vehicle (Etah)
- No lava can be seen (Aperover)
- Whirld text files are not being loaded by the 3.0 Whirld importer. This may be the cause of many aforementioned or undermentioned. (Numerous)
- World spawn points are not used.
Features:
- Smart Collisions are now optional and disabled by default!

Bugfixes
- Game no longer freezes upon unloading an asset bundled whirld file
- Game now runs in the background! This means if it is not the topmost window, it will continue to run.
