Things to follow

Hey guys I'm aware that I just left Mars but I had an overwhelming amount of PM's in my inbox, so thank you for that :) Anyways, I decided to take one final look around and long story short it seems like it's one argument after the next. I was inspired by one PM to make this post so here you go.

1. There's no need to complain about this game. All parts are the same as they have been for years and will continue to stay the same. If you want something different, please follow terrium for updates and wait until the game comes out.

2. There's no need to argue. I think there's a lack of understanding on both the new players side and the old players side. The newer players need to understand that the older players are quite tightly knit and we really haven't been open to people in a while. Older players need to understand how to loosen up a little and let the new players in. I knew it was hard for all of us at the start and we really need cooperation if you want to keep the community going.

3. People need to understand that players are leaving not just because the community is "falling apart". I left because I have almost no free time at the moment playing a sport and being in marching band. I'm sure that the other players have their reasons and everyone needs to respect their decisions instead of trying to pull people back in by insulting. Most people aren't willing to come back but I'm sure we will all have our occasional drop-ins.

4. The community needs to expand. The way we did this a few years back was just invite friends and family. This is a family friendly game and as most of you probably know it's really easily picked up but can have a challenge to it; making it appealing to almost anyone. Spread the word about the game if possible.

5. Have fun! We've had way too much drama on here; present and past. If there's any time for people to bond together it's now. If you don't like someone, either try to become friendly with them, or have a talk with them. Nobody can get hurt so there's no sense in not trying to figure things out.

6. No clan wars. PLEASE. Clans are usually just instigators in arguments. If possible, just use your clan name as your badge and don't let it differ you from any other player. I use the ACC badge but I never used it as a weapon. I know it isn't a clan anymore but I was never really initiated when it was a clan and I never joined in clan arguments for good reason. Clan arguments usually result in mass amounts of people leaving the game so refrain from clan activities. It also makes people feel left out.

7. Respect opinions. I know that this post will probably get some crap for being bossy or something but the best way to get to know someone is through their opinions. If you disagree, just say what your opinion is but try not to get into arguments over anything. This is supposed  to be a friendly environment.

Thanks for reading guys! I hope this helps and I'll check in sometime in the near future.

Oh, shut up.

These rules are silly.

No complaining? You're telling me NOT to complain? In case you didn't know, this is a forum. A thing CREATED to complain about the game. No arguing? Well, then, how will people be able to get a point arcross? Yep, didn't see that one coming.

And one of the guidlines is that the community needs to expand. This means that, under your rules, illegal to leave the game.

SPONGJAX YOU'RE BREAKING THE RULES! But I can't argue or complain so do what you want, I guess.

And respect opinions? Half the opinions on here are gosh-darn stupid-including yours, if I may add. Perhaps, yours is the stupidest of them all.

Wow, seems like that respect comment got nowhere fast -.-
I agree. With Sponge. A forum needs rule to thrive and be productive. Without rules, wild noobs prance around the forum, urinating on posts to mark their scent. Yes, people don't follow the rules because they are IDIOTS. Rules are placed and should be followed, but the stuck up snobs that think they're better than others don't follow the rules.
I should know, it used to be me.
Thus, thank you sponge for this lovely post! I think if more people FOLLOW the rules, the community will grow in size and in comapnionship with eachother. And thank you for the wounderful time here. You remain a legend. ^.^

EDIT
Oh yeah and another thing. LOOK AT THE DAMN DATE BEFORE YOU POST SOMETHING. If your just scrolling through the thousands of pages and you find something you want to comment on, LOOK AT THE DATE. The countless number of posts that are completetly irrelevant to the time we are in is overwhelming. Two posts from.. what, 2012? just got bumped. No. If you really need to say something about it, SEND A DAMN PM. That's what they're here for.

Sorry sponge.

"Don't touch that, it's hot"

*touch* OUCH!

Rules.....a lot of the time we need to make mistakes before we learn, just like younge childeren(6 and under is wat im referring to) anyways, i don't wish to fight. Yes there are rules put ut just like anything else but most of the time they are not followed, it's good to try though.

I know that putting rules up they're meant to be broken. I just feel that if we want to get anywhere there needs to be more respect between people. MAD, the forum wasn't made for complaints. It was made for, from definition, "a place for the exchange of ideas". That doesn't say complaint anywhere. Me leaving has nothing to do with the game compressing or expanding. I never said it was "illegal" to leave or do anything. I have personal problems that I need to deal with at the moment, and that's why I'm leaving. I just put these rules up having hope that it could change something in what seems to be an all out batllefield of opinions and comment wars. MAD, you of all people I wouldn't have expected pissing on top of my post yaknow being friends for 3 years and all of that, and kiaree nobody put me "in charge" of making the rules, i just felt obliged. As you can see, in the second sentence of the post, I just decided to make it.

MAD, why do you feel it is necessary to be an a**? Why does everything have to be a problem with you?

It's just a post. Calm yourself.
