Is it possible?

I have recently been on the internet looking for a good cheat engine, well… I found one called 'Cheat Engine' apparently you can change the difficulty of games and other cool stuff. But after downloading it the computer started having problems and it wasn't able to open up surtain websites. So we updated the computer thinking that might be the problem, but it wasn't so… Does anyone know how to fix a virus? I can still use the computer but it doesn't work very well. I deleted it from the computer and cleared downloads and trash afterwards. But if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Thank's!

Also has anyone ever had the problem with unity, were your terrain disappears? And it said no file selected when you try to put it back in?

Yes, a cheat engine named cheat engine would very likely be a cheat engine. I'd only be able to help with a windows computer. If you have windows, open up Control Panel, go to Programs, then Programs and Features. Delete the program there. Follow instructions. Run a scan in windows, and and go into DOS, I'm sure you know what that is, right? I mean you do program, so. Uh. Anyway, go into dos, and run an SFC or a CHKDSK, you choose and stuff, I don't know what you'll want to do, so just do whatever you want there, blah blah blah, if you know what it is and good luck. If not just do your average dir /ah and go on from there. Also once you're done repair it, I'm sure you know how to do that, it's quite easy after all. And again with the cheat engine thing, not a big fan because it kinda destroys the work that someone worked oh-so-hard on. If you're on an apple machine, good luck I'd rather not try and help. Just back up your computer. Seriously.

Take it as a learning experience, and maybe this will make it so that you wouldn't get a cheat engine, AND it will help you get a better. Just some constructive criticism.

Mkay wait so you do have Windows? Cos if you do just run the chkdsk or sfc or just a built in scanner and it will get rid of it.

If its a really stubborn piece of malware, I recommend MalwareBytes. Its probably seems like the first thing most experienced internet users would do, but Im suggesting it incase you havent tried. Just a disclaimer; if you have a hybrid SSD-HDD, it'll probably make your computer crash.

EDIT: Unsure if it works to the same degree (if at all) on a Mac. Worth a shot I guess

Go to the App Store and search antivirus find a free program that's called bit defender. Update it and do a full scan. Reboot
