Mars Explorer, Feature Requests, New Vehicles

This Feature Request is "Hidden" - meaning it will not show in the browse system.
Change the status to "Active" when ready for primetime!

if we could blast off into space would be really cool.

and if there was a space station to park and get out would be awsome.

is it possible to become a martian (a mars guy) and run around

just a thought

the space station is already being madeby fly club and thereshould not be people running aroundyet untill some problems with that are resolved

A spaceship would be totally cool and extremely awesome!!! Only for another game, not for Mars Explorer, not currently anyways... People have argued over spaceships and generally the idea was rejected. As for the space station... that idea had already been mentioned and is in fact being built (if it has not been finished already). It is not, however, approved of and agreed that it would be put in this game at all (yet). Last idea: I wish I could say "but not least"... it does seem least to me. A little figure/guy/man/person has already been mentioned at least twice and been put down by the fact that this game is a game of vehicles, not of persons. A little guy running around would really be a bad idea, sorry...

I agree. the buggy is a very flexible base vehicle and should stay that way.

i agree with olim. the space station might be a little out of place but..."why not?" so i say yay. HOWEVER, fixthese dangglitchesthat fried my mac first, or atleast SOMETHING...please...

maybe instead of being a martian, you could drive your car into the space ship and then drive out once you get to the space station

Jared, don't comment on old posts and bring them back up. It really ticks people off.

For blasting off into space, that may be an idea, but I doubt it.

As for the martian thing listen to this, taken from the FAQ page:

"As described in the previous post, crosshairs centered on somebody's head is NOT what Mars Explorer is about. There's no way to introduce humans without them getting hit by lasers powerful enough to blast vehicles into the air or run over by tremendous tanks hurtling along at several hundred miles an hour - and therefore, the is no way that humans are going to be running around on Mars in this game. Many more vehicle types are planned though - including everything from ultra tiny scout vehicles to possibly even robots with legs."

p.s.the game is called mars explorer, not moon explorer or spacecraft explorer or solar system explorer.

I love this idea. I was thinking each player could have a small starship that you could use to go between worlds. everytime you jumped into "hyperdrive" you could select your course whether it be a space station or another world. Then you get there you leave your starship and spawn any of the already existing vehicles to go down on the planet. or if its a space station you could dock your starship and chose your vehicle.

For the starship I was liking the two in the bays of the Sky King and your vehivles would be stored in a hanger inside for you to chose from.

O and i have one question. when can we get the world files on our own computers. it would make the worlds a lot smoother when ya want the fantastic quality and it would allow you to explor without being online.
