I have been wondering if it would be possible to put landscapes from the 3D landscape creator Bryce (link: http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/bryce) into marsxplr? This tool makes picture - real landscapes, so it would be great to have these worlds in the game!

It could if you could either:
 
a) export the terrain to a mesh in .3ds, .fbx, etc
 
b) export a heightmap to be imported into a unity terrain
 
Unity is much better to use for terrain worlds though.

I think that what Grae is saying is that Bryce looks very realistic, which is something I agree with. However, from what I've seen it looks like it would not be very smooth and would be difficult to drive on.
