Well, it's not much of a vehicle, and it's a teamwork-only sort of thing. But.. What if one could become a shadowspawn?
A shadowspawn is like a normal spawn, but it is just a shadow on the ground. No one can spawn, or reset to it, but if you get on top of the shadow, you can change vehicles.
The shadowspawn its self has no weapons, and can only see straight down.
Only players that are picked by the shadowspawn can change vehicles using the shadowspawn.
Only players who have been on the shadow for more than five seconds can be picked. And as soon as the leave, they are unpicked.
Once a player can be picked by a shadowspawn, the player controlling the shadowspawn clicks on the shadowspawn.
Shadowspawns cannot see the names of players, until those players are on the shadowspawn's shadow - Making teamwork all the more important.
Shadowspawns cannot move when a vehicle is on top of them.
When you use a shadowspawn to change vehicles, you can only stay that vehicle for three minutes, until you are reset back to the position that you changed in. THis can be avoided, by routinely changing vehicles with a shadowspawn, every two minutes.
shadowspawns control what vehicle the chosen players turn into.
shadowspawns can change their zoom, and even view the entire world. If a zoom is large enough, the shadowspawn shadow is where the mouse is, and not where the shadowspawn is.
Shadowspawns can only sue the original spawn to change vehicles.
Shadowspawns cannot turn vehicles into shadowspawns.
The host can choose who gets to be a shadowspawn, and who doesn't.
Zoom can be restricted by the host.
The vehicle types that shadowspawns can have can be limited by the host.
Wait time can be adjusted by the host (Anywhere from 0 seconds, to 30 seconds).
The host can determine whether or not shadowspawns are shown on the minimap.
Scenarios:
If you are a shadowspawn, and you have a quarry friend trying to get into a jet to escape, they have to stay on your shadow for five seconds, almost as deadly as a reset. Afterwards, the player can become a jet, and get away. In order for the jet to stay a jet, and hence keep quarry, the jet will need to completely land on a shadowspawn every two minutes, and stay grounded for five seconds.
You are in a race with six people. There are four sections in the race, one section for each vehicle. THere are also four shadowspawns. The shadowspawns each wait at the segment transitions, and change players, as they go from section to section.
You are playing hunted with a shadowspawn. In this game, the shadowspawn's zoom has been restricted by the host. The host has also set up hovercrafts so that they cannot move. THe host has set shadowspawn wait time to zero, and shadowspawns are not shown on the minimap. All of the "Criminals" (Players being hunted by the shadowspawn) are buggies. The shadowspawn hunts for a criminal, and then turns it into a hovercraft as fast as possible. The last person to be a criminal gets to be shadowspawn next.
Soo... What do you guys think?
Just a shadow on the ground
or more a thing like the real spawnpoint?
Is this the ghost (referring to the race buggy post)?
