Try elaborating on the tall pillar and the large flat mesa. Looks good so far.

No idea, but i'd love to know as well.
Make the pillar shorter, like half the height, and maybe more spikey. And also make the mesa a bit more interesting and less flat.

To get a sketchup item to unity you must have sketchup 6.
* must have google sketchup 6 only.
Take the model, select "export" from the file dropdown.
export it as a googe earth 4 file.
when you are finished exporting, find the file and change the extension from .kmz to .zip.
unzip the package. put the folder into unity. (drag straight in.)

This map looks great!
May I suggest a treacherous spiral driving trail up the pillar?

??? what you haven't seen it on unity island and some of the other maps?
oh and just to tell you there will be a name change so having water on the game will not matter+mars did have water on it, in it's past history(the planet, not the game)
