Since rapid fire red lasers are available to every vehicle now, i think the tank needs a sniping scope that has crosshairs and a target dot in the middle. The dot would move as you move your aim and as you zoom so that if you place the dot on a moving target and fire, it will hit the target. This way, you won't have to guess how far in front of the moving target to fire to hit it. When you change laser speed settings, the dot would adjust for it to keep its accuracy. 
 
Also, i think that if you increase laser speed all the way it should be instantaneous. Or there could be a check box for instantaneous lasers.

ya this is a great idea!  
 
and what if there was a server option that controled the rapid fire of it.  So like you could have it to where it shoots 1 round per second (RPS) or it could shoot 50 RPS  heehee dat would be fun!  :D

Rolf - You're right. The tank is too easy to pwn with some fast buggy flying. Every time a new vehicle or weapon change is made, it can easily throw the game's fairness off balance. This has to be managed carefully. Right now, the jet is an easy sit>shoot>escape trick for example.
 
I thought about instant lasers before and I think it actually might not work. You may be able to hit anything, anywhere with zero room for escape but I would like to be able to try it.

a different thing to make the tank better would be where ever its lasers hit, it makes a small laser explosion. i know what your thinking, no destructive thingys, but its a LASER explosion. just a laser ball like the size of like a xorb. this would get you quarry just like a laser. the tank wouldnt be able to fire as often though. maybe like as often as the buggy in snipe mode. could be a server option too.
