while in the game
Submitted By cheezburger on 10/04/30
Mars Explorer, cheezburger, Feature Requests

What if you were in the middle of a dogfight.  then you randomly said to yourself, "how many shots did i shoot??"   welll...

What if we had a thing in which we would press a button and it would show everything like....

• shots fired
•shots hit/miss ratio
• time held with quarry
• time in vehicle
• number of Snipes
• number of hits

• plus others dat i cant think of now :P

how would you like it?  post thy ideas!  :D

I like this idea, it could be a tab like Server settings, and Game settings.

I've been interested in a Quarry timer and have requested it before. Maybe you'd get points for holding Quarry regardless of whether you tagged anyone or not say, in a ram only game.

Yeah, I've always wished that we could have some way to "win" or at least see how well we're doing in a ramming game. Maybe programmed-in Cano King too?

I've gotten ideas from Paradise Paintball before, and they have this.

Try it in-game!

Yep! Great idea.

Syn3h will include many different game modes (racing, tag, ctf, etc), and each mode will include scoring statistics.

Will there be a basic team dogfight mode? I always wanted one of them.

I like that this thread got "bumped".
Perhaps FlyClub or Aubrey will take note of this feature, it's honestly quite good.

To be honest, the lack of this feature, or really any way to win this game is what has turned me away from Marsxplr for over a year now. I have Minecraft and Netflix if I want to relax. If I want to play a game, I have many that are more serious and equally as fun in my eyes. Sure, I have fun but am I really accomplishing anything by playing Marsxplr? I haven't felt I've accomplished anything of major importance or note in Marsxplr in a very long time, which dissapoints me honestly. I want to see how many times I've taken quarry, how many total points I've tallied and how many times I've left a game with the most points. If we had a serious game-mode for Marsxplr (Ranked comes to mind) years ago, I feel Marsxplr would be in a much better place than it is now.

Tl;DR:
If I could win this game, I'd be as active in Marsxplr as I was from October 2008 - May 2011.

ahahah! glad you still like it!  there is something about statistics that really intrest meh too.  probably why im a big fan of starcraft cause you can go back into a replay and see every last thing that ever happend in a match.  from income to army supply, APM, and spending, its all glorious data.  and TF2.  they keep track of just about everything.

a rank mode system would be cool but it would have to be implemented in a way so that people dont go all crazy about it like in Call of Duty.  A way to see a players general skill level, but not in such a way that it is thrown into your face and at others.

Ohh like in Carbon Combat!
It should only be for registered users (cause it won't work for guest users).
Right now registration serves very little purpose in the game.
Maybe you could have the profile accessible on marsxplr.com as well as in-game?

That may kill two birds with one stone as well, since people wouldn't want to start over with a new score, they would be discouraged from puppeting :D

What if you don't want to record your scores? What if you're just exploring like you are suppost to? What if you are having a fun n00b fight? I don't want that to go into a record.
