New? Those two worlds are anything but new.
Foxholes (formerly known as Fox and Geese World) has been around since 1.1/1.3.
Lava Racer was introduced in 1.6.

Please, if you have nothing to say that will be helpful in resolving the problem, please don't say a word.

Thry these

* Restart your computer

* Run only Mars Explorer and no other applications

* Try following the instructions at this link if you're on Mac http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

* Your operating system should be included in any bug report

Must be a graphic problem. If it is, it would effect other worlds too. Interesting...

Try messing with the setting in Mars and you might fix it.

To what does "1.195" relate? Some elaboration on whether using App or Browser (Which Browser), OS (Including Version), and the specific Processor and Graphic Card Names would greatly increase the chance we can track down what is wrong.

exact same problem sometimes here too... intel celeron M 1.40 GHz... usually I just avoid the world when it's not working, so I've never done a controlled experiment with restarting...

flouride - You absolutely MUST provide more information for people to assist you in solving the problem.
You also absolutely MUST answer our questions. ARE YOU RUNNING MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS ON YOUR COMPUTER WHEN THIS HAPPENS?

Here is one way to get most of the information you need from your computer:
  • Hold the down "Windows" key and press "R".
  • In the box that appears, type "dxdiag" (without the quotes).
  • Use the window that appears to get any information you need for bug reports.
I recommend posting the
  • Operating System
  • System Manufacturer
  • System Model
  • Processor
  • Memory
  • DirectX Version
  • Under the "Display" tab:
    • Name
    • Manufacturer
    • Chip type
    • Approx. Total Memory
This information should help greatly with bug fixes.
(If you think there should be more info, please feel free to add to my list.  : )
