Something like that could be done with the Geido world creator.  If you are going to make it more complex, then you may need something else, but simple worlds are easy to make with the Geido creator.

First of all you cannot make anything good in 10 minutes especially if the object is complex. Secondly, model like how you think the object would be built in real life. If you model messy - the final object will be messy. Thirdly, if this is your first or second or even third time modeling in Sketchup, take some time to learn the basic tools and make some basic objects before moving on to complex objects such as vehicles.

I would start with the main body, and just the main body to start, and then attach the back and the propeller and then the landing gear.

Looks a lot better now. You might want to bevel the edges of the main body to make it more round-ish. Also, try to flatten out the rotor a bit and make it more blade shaped and realistic. But overall, good job so far.

One way to do it is to find a very simple 3 view drawing of a helicopter and model from that.
 
Model one part at a time and keep things ultra simple.
- If you are not satisfied with a particular part, start over with that one part.
It will take time, but if you use the sketchup videos on youtube, you should soon be able to make a reasonable helicopter.

Maybe try something a little different, rather than the single rotor design.
 
 
Otherwise looks okay, but maybe consider making a tail.

Nice progress kawasaki! However, if this did get into the game, what would its purpose be. At first I thought it could be an air transport - but that's what the Sky Monster is going to be for, right?

The Helicopter is a mix between the Hovercraft and Jet. It's purpose would be a small transport, able to hold 1 instead of the 30 a Sky Monster can hold.

Also note that if both rotors spin outwards, a tail rotor is not needed, but stabilizing fins will be.

And Mars is out of the support cycle. Development of game objects (excluding worlds) should be done with Syn3h in mind. Syn3h was chosen as the name because there is no preconceived idea of what must be in it. You can have a futuristic spacecraft along side an old, beat-up, lawnmower if you wanted to.

im gonna try and be positive this time. if you want to keep the bulky look make it look like an army helicopter. what is also contributing to the bulkiness is its not long enough. the picture your modeling it from is not a bulky helicopter. oh and by the way does anyone have a good lawnmower design. because if there was a mower in the game it could be like a tank that could shoot up into the air. btw i mean a riding lawnmower not a push mower.

But annnnywho, yeah, what Appy said. Aubrey has basically confirmed that Macdane's biplane is going to be in Syn3h, so I wouldn't be surprised to see other 'outdated' vehicles in the future...
