UPDATE:

Submissions are now due 31 January 2011.  Please try to get them in by then for a release date of hopefully mid February.

---

Well guys, last year's community world created one of the best block worlds I have ever seen, with 4 users: myself, Fai, Dvo, and HelloGoodBye contributing.

However this year, I think it can be even better.  With the current revolution in world making, I figure, why limit it to block worlds?  You can now use any modeling program you wish to make what you want to add to it, and a person yet to be determined can make a nice terrain to put it on.

However, before we get started, 2 things must be done.

1: Will you participate?  If so, just post a comment or PM me and I will add you to the list.
2: Should we or should we not have a themed community world, and if so, what would be the theme?

If there is a theme, you can add whatever you want that has that theme, and with that, a person will put it in the best place possible.  If there is no theme, then you can add literally anything you want to it (just remember that there are children who play this game).

There will still loosely be plots for everyone, but if someone finds a place for something that is not on a plot by person, it will be put there.

As always, please watermark anything you make, it would be a shame to not get credit.  (of course you will get credit in the welcome message though.

I would like to join! I am a great unity terrain maker, and am alright in sketchup. Maybe, nightmarish, almost a hallucination for a theme, with particle effects to make it stand out. Just an idea, nothing more.

I could give you some of my ready made bridges and such. Don't have enough time on my hands to design anything new though.
most of them haven't been used anyways so they will still be novel.
here's a link to my post with all my stuff. If you want anything that doesn't already have a link on the post then pm me and I'll get it to you next weekend.

Well, I could model a few little mini race tracks in Blender, just for some recreational activity. With jump sections, and figure eights and such. If there's need for help with a terrain, thats fine as well.

I guess there is not going to be a theme, so yeah, model whatever you want.

I wouldn't mind putting it together, since I can export, if no one objects.

Sign me up. I think you, martians, should create a spherical world. And you don't fall off even though you are upside-down. Like the earth, but smaller... much smaller. I'll use sketch-up v.8 to make buildings and house. Only problem is that I don't know how to give it to you, Martians.
