Completed body! Includes a futuristic bridged "H" frame design; detailed, animated treads; and incorporates several design ideas by FlyClub for making it look even cooler
New intelligent tracks that pivot easily over terrain, but resist angular rotation when hill climbing to help you stick to incredibly steep faces without being ratcheted off
Slightly more power
Buggy:
Completely re-engineered handling, including everything from new a new wheel slip model to smart suspension that automatically lowers it's CG at high speeds
New fine tuned mesh based collision model for ultimate crash and vehicle to vehicle collision fun
Cooler surface and submerged lava physics - including the the full use of your wings in the depths of the sea...
Easier takeoffs and smoother wallriding
Automatic "landing gear" retraction during flight, which makes the buggy look way more streamlined while sailing through the skies
Cooler looking, smoother cockpit
Enhanced flight physics, which should now be completely framerate and rendering quality level independent
Beautiful skid marks
New server physics controls for smart suspension and shock damping aggressiveness
Hovercraft:
Revised hovercraft physics are now finished!
New server physics controls for hover height, hover height aggressiveness, terrain repulsion, and engine thrust
Server Settings:
Parameter sanity verification - (in other works, you can't manually adjust parameters outside their maximum bounds)
Atmosphere and lava fog density control
World lava sea height slider
Laser speed control
General:
Better vehicle collision detection, including the ability to tag players with your buggy's wings
(Hopefully) even less application crashes than previous versions
Cooler server entry sequence, with the starfield background staying aligned as you transfer from list mode to game mode
An axiom of aircraft handling is instability = agility. An agile stunt aircraft is more "unstable" than a Jumbo Jet which is not agile.
This super hight performance buggy in Simple setting is more demanding on the pilot's control input but I am thrilled with it now that I have reduced my control input. (play much lighter on the keys)
ah - Please come back! Please keep trying to get used to it?
